The Durham Regional Police Service wants to know how it measures up in the eyes of the public.
A public opinion survey is being conducted to gather feedback from residents of Durham about community safety and the services provided by DRPS. By taking 15 minutes to complete the survey, members of Durham Region can help the DRPS make our community the safest in which to live, work and play.
The survey can be completed online at www.drps.ca. Paper versions of the survey can be picked up and dropped off at any DRPS station or at Durham Regional Headquarters in Whitby.
In an effort to reach as many residents as possible, paper surveys are also available at the following locations in North Durham:
• Foodland in Beaverton; • Foodland in Cannington; • Flindall’s Freshmart in Sunderland; • Sobey’s in Port Perry; • Zehr’s in Uxbridge; • The Port Perry Community Employment Resource Centre • The Brock Community Employment Resource Centre in Beaverton, and • All Municipal offices in Brock, Scugog and Uxbridge.
Even if you have not been in contact with the police, we are still interested in feedback on community safety initiatives and how safe you feel in your neighbourhood.
The survey closes on July 31, 2010.
