| Investigators are asking the public to help identify two suspects who forced their way into an Oshawa apartment yesterday, choked a male victim and stole electronics and cash.
On Thursday, July 22, 2010 at approximately 10 a.m., two male suspects entered a townhouse apartment complex on Oxford Street in Oshawa and forced their way into one apartment unit. Once inside, they choked a 21-year-old male tenant and proceeded to grab electronics and cash. They then fled the area. Police arrived and searched the area, but no arrests were made. Police do not believe this was a random act.
Suspect #1 is described as male, white, about 20 years old, 5’11” tall with a medium build, blonde curly hair, unshaven, wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans.
Suspect #2 is described as male, white, about 20 years old, 5’8” tall, medium build, black hair in a brush cut, carrying a black backpack, wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts.
Anyone with information that will help identify these suspects is asked to contact D/Cst. Lapierre of the Central East Division Criminal Investigations Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2769.
