$480,000 Worth of Drugs Seized Following Drug Investigation in Oshawa
A male is in custody following a drug investigation that saw more than $480,000 worth of drugs seized from a residence in Oshawa.
On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, members of the Community Response team, with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Unit, concluded an investigation into a male believed to be involved in drug trafficking. A search warrant was executed at a residence in the area of Glen Street and Porter Street, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. Cash and drugs with a street value of over $480,000 were seized.
Ray BOND, age 48 from Oshawa is charged with numerous offences including: Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (opioid) x2, Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine), and Possess Unmarked Cigarettes for Sale.
He was held for a bail hearing.
