Adult Arrested After Armed Robbery at Convenience Store in Oshawa
An adult is facing charges after pepper spraying a convenience store employee in Oshawa.
On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at approximately 2:55 a.m., members of Central East Division responded to a robbery call at the Circle K convenience store, located at 206 King Street East. The suspect entered the business and sprayed an employee with a noxious substance while attempting to steal items. Officers arrived on scene and took the suspect into custody without incident. A canister of pepper spray was located during a search of the suspect.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
Jordan Faith MYERS, age 19 from Oshawa is charged with: Robbery, Administer Noxious Substance, and Possess Weapon Dangerous to Public.
They were released on an Undertaking.
