Badge v Shield Showdown

Join DRPS members on October 29th, ahead of the Generals versus Attack home game, for the first ever ‘Badge vs Shield Showdown’ as we face Oshawa Fire Services in a friendly competition to raise money for charity.

Both Oshawa Fire Services and DRPS have created a team that will take the ice at the Tribute Communities Centre at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2023.

Both services are taking part in the ‘Badge vs Shield Showdown’ in support of their respective chosen charities. Durham Regional Police Services will play for Greater Durham Special Olympics while Oshawa Fire Services will play for United Way Durham.

Tickets can be purchased through the links below and include admission into the Oshawa Generals game against the Owen Sound Attack at 6:05 p.m. that night. Five dollars from each ticket goes to support the charity chosen by the first responders.
