Badge vs. Shield Showdown

Join DRPS members on October 20, 2024 ahead of the Oshawa Generals versus Saginaw Spirit home game, for the second annual ‘Badge vs Shield Showdown’ as we face Oshawa Fire Services in a friendly competition to raise money for charity.

Both Oshawa Fire Services and DRPS have created a team that will take the ice at the Tribute Communities Centre at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2024.

Both services are taking part in the ‘Badge vs Shield Showdown’ in support of their respective chosen charities. Durham Regional Police Service will play for Greater Durham Special Olympics.

Tickets can be purchased through the links below and include admission into the Oshawa Generals game against the Saginaw Spirit that starts at 6:05 p.m. after the showdown. Five dollars from each ticket goes to support the charity chosen by the first responders.
