Canada-Wide Warrant Issued in Parental Abduction Case

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of a 41-year-old female in a parental abduction case.

In August 2024, members of Central West Division began an investigation into a parental abduction involving a 5-year-old and his mother. The mother had taken the child to Colombia and is refusing to return the child to Canada.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for her arrest. Efforts are underway to retrieve the child from Colombia and ensure his safe return to Canada and the father.

Patricia MONTERO-ZAMBRANO, age 41, is wanted for: Abduction by Parent/Custody Order.
