Dirt Bike Collision in Clarington

A male has life-threatening injuries after a dirt bike collision in Clarington.

On Monday, October 14, 2024 at approximately 11:40 a.m., members from East Division responded to a collision at the CBM Burketon Pit on Regional Road 57.  A 22-year-old male from Clarington was riding a dirt bike through the CBM Burketon Pit when he lost control of the bike, resulting in life-threatening injuries.

The male was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre where he remains with life-threatening injuries.

Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) attended the scene and investigated the circumstances of the incident. This collision is still under investigation.
