DRPS Members Face NHL Alumni in Benefit Hockey Game

A group of former NHL players will face off against Durham Regional Police Service officers at Iroquois Park Sports Centre in Whitby on Friday December 27, 2024 to raise funds for Special Olympics programs across the province.

 

The NHL alumni roster features Stanley Cup champions Mike Krushelnyski, Bryan Muir and Keith Acton, former Toronto Maple Leaf Peter Holland as well as Zenon Konopka, Adam Munro, Pierre Dagenais, Brandon Prust, Brian McGrattan and Theo Peckham. Former Leaf Dave Hutchison will officiate the matchup.

 

The game is part of the NHL Alumni Benefit Tour, which aims to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for Special Olympics athletes.
