Drugs and Two Loaded Firearms Seized
A male is in custody for firearm and drug possession following an investigation by the DRPS Gun and Gang Unit.
On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, members of the DRPS Gun and Gang Unit (GGU) concluded a firearm investigation which saw the execution of search warrants at a storage locker and a residence in Toronto. During the search, investigators located and seized a loaded Glock 19, a loaded Ruger LCP, ammunition, an overcapacity magazine, an automatic selector switch for a Glock handgun, a quantity of drugs and a 2020 Range Rover. Both loaded firearms that were seized originated from the United States.
A 29-year-old male was arrested and is facing multiple firearm and drug related charges.
Vladimir HUSSAIN-MARCA, age 29 from Toronto is charged with: Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted/Prohibited Firearm x2, Possession of a Loaded Firearm x2, Possession of a Prohibited Device x 2, Possess Firearm while Prohibited, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (fentanyl), Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine), Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine).
He was held for a bail hearing.
