Drugs Seized During Traffic Stop in Whitby

A male is facing charges after being found with a quantity of drugs during a traffic stop in Whitby.

On Monday, September 9, 2024, at approximately 12:40 a.m., members from Central West Division on proactive patrol initiated a traffic stop in the area of Burns Street West and Clarence Drive.  The vehicle was searched under the Cannabis Control Act, revealing a quantity of drugs including what is believed to be cocaine, fentanyl, and oxycodone.

Brayden WALLACE, age 23 from Oshawa is charged with numerous offences including: Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Drive Vehicle with Cannabis Readily Available.

He was released on an Undertaking.
