Fatal Single Vehicle Collision in Oshawa

 An 18-year-old male has died as the result of a single motor vehicle collision in Oshawa.

On Monday, February 3, 2025 at approximately 4:39 a.m. members from East Division were called to a single motor vehicle collision on Grandview Street North and Rathburn Street. The motor vehicle was travelling southbound when it exited the roadway striking a light standard and sign. The single occupant, an 18-year-old male driver was pronounced deceased on scene.

Members of the DRPS - Collision Investigation Unit, attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The area of the roadway was closed for several hours while evidence was collected. This collision is still under investigation.
