Female Arrested After Armed Robbery in Bowmanville

A female is facing charges after an armed robbery at a business in Bowmanville.

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, at approximately 9:50 p.m., members of East Division responded to a robbery call at Shoppers Drug Mart located at 570 Longworth Avenue. A female suspect entered the store and began to conceal items in her purse. When confronted by an employee, the suspect held a knife towards them. The suspect fled the store with the stolen items before police arrived.

Officers were able to locate the suspect nearby and take her into custody. Officers recovered the stolen property and seized the knife.

Missy ANTILLE, age 22, of Bowmanville is facing charges of: Robbery; Possess Property Obtained By Crime Under $5000; Possession of a Weapon For a Dangerous Purpose and Breach of Probation.

She was held for a bail hearing.
