Female Killed in Assault in Oshawa
A female has died after being stabbed by her husband in Oshawa.
On Sunday, November 17, 2024, at approximately 12:30 a.m., members from Central East Division attended a residence on Eulalie Avenue after receiving a 9-1-1 call from the address. Officers arrived on scene and located a female with traumatic injuries. She was rushed to a Toronto-area trauma centre where she was pronounced deceased. A male at the home was taken into custody without incident.
The female victim has been identified as 48-year-old Parween ADEL.
Hakim ADEL, age 41, of Oshawa has been charged with Second Degree Murder.
He was held for a bail hearing.
