Health Care Worker Arrested for Forged Police Record Check

A Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Durham Region has been arrested after submitting a forged police criminal record check to her employer. 

In May of 2024, members of the Financial Crimes Unit began an investigation into a female believed to have submitted a fraudulent criminal record check to her employer.  Investigators confirmed that the document submitted had been altered and was not an official police record check document. 

Naomi IBAMA, age 20 from Ajax is charged with: Utter Forged Document.

She was released on an Undertaking.
