Join Us for Police Week
This morning DRPS launched 2024 Police Week at the Oshawa Centre. Police Week runs from May 12 to 18, 2024 with the theme of Join Policing: Keep Ontario Safe. The national week aims to highlight the important role our police officers and personnel play in community safety, and how members of the community can take an active role in keeping Ontario safe by joining this rewarding profession.
Officers from the DRPS Community Safety Unit will be hosting an information booth at the Oshawa Centre from Monday, May 15, through to Thursday May 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m daily.
The DRPS is celebrating its 50th anniversary and will have vintage cruisers on display, as well as free giveaways and information on crime prevention.
Follow us on X @DRPS, Instagram @drps_official or Facebook @OfficialDRPS to check out our Police Week posts. DRPS and other participating agencies will be utilizing the hashtag #PoliceWeekON to connect with our followers.
