Male Arrested After Break-and-Enter at Oshawa Canadian Tire

A male is facing charges after breaking into a Canadian Tire in Oshawa.

On Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at approximately 5:10 a.m., members of Central East Division responded to a break-and-enter in progress at the Canadian Tire automotive store, located at 1333 Wilson Road North.  A male suspect broke into the business and attempted to steal merchandise.  Officers arrived on scene and located the suspect who fled the area on foot.  Officers engaged in a short foot pursuit before taking the suspect into custody. 

The suspect was linked to a previous break-and-enter at the same location.

Tyler Leo LAZURE, age 40 from Oshawa is charged with: Break-and-Enter x2, and Fail to Comply with Probation Order x2.

He was held for a bail hearing.
