Male Arrested After Making Threats in Pickering
A 34-year-old male has been arrested after making threats in Pickering.
On Saturday, December 14, 2024, members of West Division responded to the area of Spruce Hill Road and Shadybrook Drive for an armed person. The suspect was making threats to shoot people and was believed to be in possession of a firearm. Officers arrived on scene and located the suspect. The suspect was taken into custody and a firearm was located in the vehicle.
Once recovered, the weapon was determined to be a replica firearm.
Randy HEARD, age 34, of Pickering is charged with: Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm x3; Uttering Threats to Cause Damage to Property; Possession of Weapons Dangerous; Use of Imitation Firearm During Commission of an Offence and Pointing a Firearm.
He was held for a bail hearing.
