Male Arrested After Stabbing in Oshawa
A male has been arrested after he stabbed another male during an altercation in Oshawa.
On Sunday, August 4, 2024, at approximately 12:55 a.m., members of Central East Division responded to an armed person call in the area of Simcoe Street South and Mill Street. Two males were involved in a verbal altercation resulting in the victim being stabbed.
Officers located the victim a short distance away and began life saving measures. He was transported to a Toronto area trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
At approximately 8:30 a.m., officers located the suspect in the area of Simcoe Street South and Albany Street, in Oshawa. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
Anthony MURRAY, age 35 of No Fixed Address is charged with: Aggravated Assault, Possess Weapon Dangerous to the Public, and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.
