Male Arrested for Break-and-Enter in Bowmanville
A male is facing charges after he broke into a hardware store in Bowmanville.
On Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at approximately 12:25 a.m., members of East Division responded to a break-and-enter in progress at the Peavey Mart, located at 95 Baseline Road. A male broke into the rear of the business and loaded stolen items into a nearby van. Police arrived on scene and took the male into custody without incident. It was later determined that the licence plates on the suspect van were stolen.
Timotei EMBER, age 43 from Bright is charged with: Break-and-Enter, Theft Under $5000, Possess Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 x2, Mischief Under $5000, and Possess Break-in Instruments.
He was released on an Undertaking.
