Male Recovering after being Stabbed in Oshawa
A 26-year-old male recovering after being stabbed in Oshawa.
On Sunday, April 15, 2024, at approximately 4:40 p.m., members of Central East Division, who were on proactive patrol, located a male in the area of Bruce Street and Simcoe Street South in Oshawa suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre in serious condition. His condition has since upgraded to stable.
Through investigation, officers were able to determine that the victim and another male were in a minor altercation before the stabbing. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival.
He is described as male, Black, 20-30 years, a dark coloured hoody with a swoosh pattern on the front, dark colour track pants with a white stripe down the legs, and a medical mask.
