Male Wanted for Break-and-Enter in Whitby

Police are looking for a male who broke into a convenience store in Whitby.

On Monday, July 1, 2024, at approximately 3:25 a.m., a male broke into Garden Square Variety, located at 3050 Garden Street, in Whitby.  The suspect smashed the glass of the front door and stole numerous items, including: lottery tickets, cigarettes, and cash.

The suspect is described as: male, Black, approximately 30-40 years-old, with short dark hair, and a goatee.  He was wearing sunglasses, and a blue fitted T-shirt.
