Multiple Injured and One Fatality in Uxbridge Collision
A 32-year-old female is deceased after a serious collision in Uxbridge.
On Monday January 29, 2024 at approximately 2:05 p.m., officers from North Division responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Concession Road 6 and Sandford Road in Uxbridge. A white Cadillac SUV was westbound on Sandford Road when it collided with a white Subaru SUV which was northbound Concession Road 6.
Four occupants of the Subaru were transported to a local area hospital where the driver remains in serious condition. A 32-year-old female passenger in the Subaru succumbed to her injuries while at the hospital, and a 29-year-old female passenger and a 1-year-old male passenger were later transported to Toronto area trauma centres with life threatening injuries. They remain in hospital in serious condition.
The driver and the passenger of the Cadillac were transported to a Newmarket area hospital where they remain with serious injuries.
Members of the DRPS - Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The area of the roadway was closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
