Police are Looking for more Victims Following Reports of Sexual Assaults

Police are looking to identify further victims after receiving reports of a male stranger kissing and touching females without their consent in Oshawa.

On Tuesday, July 4, 2023, police commenced an investigation after a 16-year-old female reported being kissed and touched inappropriately by an unknown male at the bus loop near the Oshawa Centre.   While investigating this incident investigators became aware of two other victims.   The second victim was at the Oshawa Centre when she was approached by a male with a similar description who also kissed her.  The third victim was at the Tim Horton’s located at 1251 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa, when she was also approached by a male matching the same description who kissed her and touched her inappropriately.

The suspect is described as: male, Brown, 20-30 years, 5’11” tall, slim to medium build, short wavy black hair, beard, black framed glasses with an accent.  He was wearing a blue plaid, collared button shirt and black pants.

The preliminary investigation has led officers to believe these assaults have been completed by the same individual, however investigators are continuing to work to determine if they are in fact connected. 

Officers would like to remind everyone to always be aware of your surroundings and if you feel uncomfortable at anytime to call 911.
