Police are Looking for One Suspect after a Daylight Shooting in Ajax

Police are looking for a male suspect after a daylight shooting in Ajax.

On Saturday, May 18, 2024 at approximately 4:20 p.m., members from West Division responded to the area of Lankester Lane and Drake Lane in Ajax after receiving reports of the sounds of gunshots.  Officers arrived on scene and located numerous shell casings; however, no victims were located.   It is believed at this time that there a dispute between a group of males and a lone male.  The lone male fired numerous shots at the group in response to the altercation. 

Officers are continuing to canvass the area, however are appealing to anyone in the community with information to come forward.

The suspect is described as is male, Black, medium build and wearing black clothing and a black mask.
