Police Investigating Fire at Residence of 2024 Homicide

Police are investigating a fire at the residence of a 2024 homicide.

On Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at approximately 5:15 a.m., members from Central East Division responded to a residential fire in the area of Eulalie Avenue and Huron Street in Oshawa. There were no occupants in the residence and no physical injuries have been reported at this time.

Oshawa Fire Services attended the scene and has deemed the cause of the fire undetermined.  

The residence involved in the fire is the same location where the homicide of Parween ADEL occurred in November 2024.  

The investigation remains ongoing and investigators are examining all avenues in relation to the fire. At this time, no connection has been established between the homicide of Parween ADEL and today’s fire.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with video footage, including dash cam or home surveillance, to contact investigators.
