Police Look for Male Who Sexually Assaulted Female Near Durham College
Police are looking for a male who sexually assaulted a female near Durham College in Oshawa.
On Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at approximately 1:10 p.m., a male sat beside a female on a bench while she was waiting for a bus in the bus loading area, near the main entrance to Durham College, located at 2000 Simcoe Street North, in Oshawa. The suspect engaged in conversation, identifying himself as an international student enrolled in the accounting program. The suspect groped the victim before she could get onto a bus. The suspect followed the victim onto the bus and attempted to sit with her, however she was able to move and sit near the driver for safety, before contacting police.
The suspect is described as: male, Brown, approximately 18-25 years-old, and has a thin build. He was wearing glasses, a blue golf shirt, blue pants, and black/grey shoes.
