Police Seeking Four Suspects After Stabbing in Ajax
Police are looking for suspects after a male was attacked and stabbed by four males armed with machetes in Ajax.
On Friday, February 21, 2025, at approximately 10:10 p.m., members of West Division responded to the area of Griffths Drive and Delaney Drive for an armed person call. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The victim was approached by the suspects as he returned to a residence in the area. After a brief interaction, the victim was stabbed multiple times. Four male suspects fled on foot from the residence. The victim was transported to Toronto-area trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. His condition has since been upgraded to stable.
This is believed to be an isolated incident.
The four suspects are described as:
- Male, Black, approximately 20-years-old wearing a black medical-style mask with a dark coloured hooded sweatshirt.
- Male, Black approximately 20-years-old wearing black medical style mask with grey hooded sweatshirt.
- Male, Black, approximately 20-years-old wearing blue medical style mask with grey hooded sweatshirt.
- Male, Black, approximately 20-years-old wearing blue medical style mask with dark coloured sweatshirt.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with video footage, including dashcam and home surveillance, to please contact police.
