Prowler Arrested After Secretly Watching Homeowners in Ajax

A male has been arrested after he secretly observed homeowners on their properties in Ajax.

On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at approximately 9:05 p.m., members of West Division responded to multiple calls for a prowler in the area of Georgina Drive and Brooks Road.  A male entered the yards of several residences in an attempt to watch the occupants through their windows.  Officers, with the assistance of the K9 Unit, searched the area and located the suspect, who was taken into custody without incident.

Cleius GEORGE, age 53 from Whitby is charged with: Prowl at Night x2, Secretly Observe Person Expecting Privacy x4, and Criminal Harassment.

He was released on an Undertaking.
