Recovered Stolen Vehicle Results in Drug Arrest

A 33-year-old male was arrested in a stolen vehicle and found to be trafficking drugs.

On Monday, March 3, 2025, at approximately 11:35 p.m., members of Central East Division were proactively patrolling the area of Stevenson Road South and King Street West in Oshawa. Officers located a vehicle in a parking lot that was stolen and located the suspect in the vehicle. The suspect was arrested and found to have a large quantity of drugs, cash and drug paraphernalia on him and in the vehicle.

Scott WATSON, age 33, of Whitby is charged with: Fail to Comply with Release Order; Possess Property Obtained by Crime Exceeding $5000 and Traffic in Schedule I Substance x 4 (fentanyl; cocaine; methamphetamine; Percocet).

He was held for a bail hearing.
