Shots Fired at Residence in Uxbridge

No injuries have been reported after shots were fired at a home in Uxbridge.

On Saturday, November 30, 2024, at approximately 4:10 a.m., members from North Division responded to the sounds of gunshots at a home on Deer Ridge Road.  Earlier in the month, police were called to the same area for a similar incident. Shell casings were recovered at both scenes; however, no injuries have been reported. The motives behind these shootings remain under investigation.  However, it is believed that the home involved in this incident was mistakenly targeted.

This year, there has been a 33 per cent increase in shootings, a disturbing trend that significantly impacts our entire community.  We want to assure the community that each incident is taken seriously, and we are committed to holding those responsible accountable. We encourage the public to report any suspicious activity to the police.
