Shots Fired at a Residence in Whitby

Police are canvassing a Whitby neighbourhood after shots were fired at a residence.

On Sunday, May 19, 2024, at approximately 3:15 a.m., members from Central West Division responded to the area of Garrard Road and Manning Road in Whitby after receiving reports of shots being fired at a residence. Officers arrived on the scene and located shell casings in the area however no victims were located.

Officers are continuing to canvass the area, however are appealing to anyone in the community with information to come forward.

Investigators are continuing to look into if any shootings this weekend are connected.
