Shots Fired in Ajax

Police are investigating after shots were fired Thursday afternoon in Ajax.

On Thursday, April 17, 2025 at approximately 5:40 p.m., members of West Division responded to Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens cemetery located at 1575 Church Street North after receiving a call for the sound of gunshots. 

Officers arrived on scene and located a number of shell casings in the area. Two white SUV’s were reported to be seen travelling at a high rate of speed shortly after the sound of gunshots.

At this time, there have been no physical injuries reported. 

The investigation remains ongoing, and police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with video footage to please contact police.
