Shots Fired Overnight in Whitby
Police are appealing for witnesses in an overnight shooting in Whitby.
On Thursday, December 19, 2024, at approximately 1:15 a.m., members of Central West Division responded to the area of Haverhill Crescent and Harrongate Place for an armed person. Officers arrived on scene and located multiple shell casings in the area. From the shell casings, officers determined at least two firearms were used.
Two residences have been located with bullet holes. The residents were home at the time of the shooting and are uninjured.
There have been no physical injuries reported at this time.
Police are appealing to any witnesses or anyone who may have video footage, including home surveillance or dashcam, to please contact police.
