Suspect in Go Train Assaults Identified: Police Seeking Public's Assistance Locating Him

The suspect in two separate GO Train assaults that occurred Monday evening, has been identified, and police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him.

The suspect has been identified as Christopher OTOO of Clarington.

On Monday, November 11, 2024 at approximately 7:40 p.m., members of West Division responded to Pickering GO Station located at 1322 Bayly Street, in Pickering for an assault. A female was travelling on the 6:50 p.m. eastbound train from Union Station when she was assaulted by the suspect. The suspect struck the victim in the face multiple times and then exited the train.

Two hours later, at approximately 9:20 p.m., members of West Division responded to a second assault at Pickering GO Station. A female was travelling on the 8:20 p.m. eastbound train from Union Station when she was assaulted by the same suspect.

Christopher OTOO, age 31 from Clarington is wanted for: Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Assault, Theft Under $5000, and Fail to Comply with Probation Order x3.
