Suspect Sought in Oshawa Stabbing
Police are looking for a male suspect who stabbed another male in Downtown Oshawa.
On Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at approximately 11:00 a.m., members of Central East Division responded to a stabbing incident in the area of Simcoe Street South and John Street West. A fight was reported outside of a local business near Memorial Park. Officers located a male who had been stabbed. Life saving measures were performed and the victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. The area was closed for several hours as investigators established a crime scene and searched for suspects and witnesses.
The victim’s status has since been upgraded to stable with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
