Suspect Wanted After Shooting in Oshawa
Police are searching for a male suspect after he discharged a firearm during a fight in Oshawa.
On Saturday April 5, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., members of East Division responded to an armed person call in the area of King Street East and Eastlawn Street in Oshawa. Officers searched the area and located a single bullet casing.
Investigators determined there was a verbal altercation between two groups of people who had just left a local bar. The group continued to walk across the street when a physical altercation began. One of the male suspects pulled out a firearm and fired it into the air. The crowd dispersed before police arrived.
No injuries were reported to police.
The suspect is described as: male, Black, thin build. He was wearing a ski mask, black puffer jacket, black pants and black shoes
