Suspects Sought After Commercial Robbery in Pickering
Police are looking for two suspects after a male stole liquor and brandished a knife toward employees before fleeing in a waiting vehicle in Pickering.
On Thursday, July 25, 2024, at approximately 10:55 p.m., members of West Division responded to a commercial robbery call at the Esso Gas Station and LCBO, located at 2250 Highway 7. A male suspect entered the business, took a case of alcoholic drinks, and left without paying. The same suspect returned a short time later and took another case of alcoholic drinks. When staff attempted to stop the suspect as he exited the store, the suspect brandished a knife toward the employees and fled in a waiting vehicle.
No victims sustained any physical injuries.
The suspect is described as: male, White, approximately 20-25 years-old, with short black hair. He was wearing a black sweater, black pants, and black shoes.
The suspect vehicle is described as: dark-coloured Honda Civic.
