Suspects Wanted After Shooting in Whitby

Police are looking for suspects following a shooting at a Whitby business.

On Thursday, January 23, 2025, at approximately 8:45 a.m., members of Central West Division responded to a shooting at a business in the area of Hopkins Street and Nichol Avenue.  Police were contacted after employee’s observed several bullet holes through the front windows of the business. 

A review of security footage confirmed that on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at approximately 11:50 p.m., a male fired a handgun at the business before fleeing the area in a silver SUV.  The business was closed at the time of the shooting and no injuries have been reported to police.
