Three Males in Custody for Break-and-Enter
Three males are in custody after breaking into a telecommunications facility to steal copper wiring in Oshawa.
On Saturday, March 9, 2024, at approximately 12:00 a.m., members of Central West Division responded to a break-and-enter call at the Bell Canada Cable Yard located at 1235 Boundary Road, in Oshawa. Three males broke into the facility and were stealing copper wiring. A perimeter was set up and the suspects were monitored using a DRPS Remote Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) drone. The suspects attempted to flee on foot but were stopped by police and taken into custody without incident.
Miklos HORVATH, age 30 from Toronto is charged with numerous offences including: Break-and-Enter, Theft Over $5000, Possess Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000, and Possess Break-in instruments.
Norbert SZELES, age 23 from Etobicoke is charged with numerous offences including: Break-and-Enter, Theft Over $5000, Possess Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000, and Possess Break-in instruments.
Sandor KISS, age 27 from Toronto is charged with numerous offences including: Break-and-Enter, Theft Over $5000, Possess Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000, and Possess Break-in instruments.
All parties were held for a bail hearing.
