Three Suspects Wanted After Distraction Theft in Bowmanville
Police are looking for three suspects who stole from an elderly female in Bowmanville.
On Saturday, April 5, 2025, an elderly female attended a grocery store in the area of King Street East and Simpson Avenue.
When the elderly female was in the meat aisle, she was approached by a male suspect who spoke with a French accent. During this time another female suspect discreetly removed a wallet from the victim’s purse.
Victim’s bank cards were used to purchase gift cards and cash withdrawals at a nearby store without her knowledge.
Further investigation revealed that three suspects were involved in the distraction theft.
The first suspect is described as: male, White, black hair with a black moustache and black goatee beard. He was wearing a black jacket
The second suspect is described as: female, White, with a medium build. She was wearing a black head band, brown jacket, black shirt, black pants and white shoes.
The third suspect is described as: male, Brown complexion, black hair with a black moustache. He was wearing a black puffer jacket, camo pants and black shoes.
All three suspects are associated to a black Hyundai Santa Fe.
