Two Arrested After Police Locate Stolen Vehicle
Two males are facing numerous charges after a stolen vehicle is involved in a fail to remain collision in Pickering.
On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at approximately 1:25 a.m., members of West Division responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of Kingston Road and Whites Road. A Black Ford Fusion was traveling at a high rate of speed when it lost control and left the roadway. Two males were seen fleeing the vehicle on foot.
Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen. Officers arrived on scene and began setting up containment in the area. Two males were located and taken into custody without incident.
D’ONTE RICHARDS, age 21, of Toronto is charged with: Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000; Breach Of Probation and Fail To Remain.
A 13-year-old male from Whitby is charged with: Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000; Fail To Comply With Release Order and Fail To Remain.
Both parties were held for a bail hearing.
