UPDATE #1 - 18-Year-Old Male Suffers Serious Injuries after a Collision in Oshawa

Investigators have laid charges against a driver in a collision that left two people with serious injuries in June. 

On Friday, June 21st, 2024, at approximately 3:45 p.m., members from Central East Division responded to a report of a collision involving four motor vehicles on Ritson Road just north of Wildflower Court, in Oshawa. A green GMC pickup truck was heading southbound when it lost control and hit a black Buick Vera, also going southbound, followed by two northbound vehicles, a grey Toyota RAV4 and a grey Jeep. The green GMC pickup truck rolled onto its side causing significant damage to the two northbound vehicles.

The driver of the Green GMC pickup is now facing charges.

Graeme DAY, age 18 of Oshawa is charged with Dangerous Operation Cause Bodily Harm x2.

He was released on an undertaking.
