UPDATE #1 - Male Wanted for Sexual Assaults and Indecent Acts in Pickering

Police have arrested a male who committed multiple sexual assaults and indecent acts at a pharmacy in Pickering.

On Thursday, July 25, 2024, at approximately 6:50 p.m., a male entered the Rexall Pharmacy, located at 1822 Whites Road.  The suspect exposed his genitals and masturbated while an employee had their back turned.  The suspect then attempted to take a picture/video underneath a second victim’s dress using his cellphone.

On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, the suspect was located and taken into custody without incident.

Chevaun Hakim JONES, age 29 from Pickering is charged with numerous offences including: Sexual Assault x2, Secretly Record Person for Sexual Purpose x2, and Indecent Act in Public Place.

He was held for a bail hearing.

Police believe there may be further victims.
