UPDATE #1 Oshawa Male Facing Child Pornography Charges
An additional male has been arrested by the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit after an investigation into the making and exchange of child pornography in Oshawa.
On Friday, August 30, 2024, investigators from the ICE unit received information that a second male from Oshawa was making and exchanging child pornographic content online. Officers attended the suspect’s residence and seized multiple electronics. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
A 38-year-old male from Oshawa is charged with: Possess Child Pornography, Make Child Pornography, Make Available Child Pornography, and Access Child Pornography.
The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
He was held for a bail hearing.
