Update #2 Fire in Downtown Bowmanville

Investigators with the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) have concluded their examination of the scene and efforts to determine the cause, origin, and circumstances remain ongoing.

A post-mortem examination of the recovered individual found no signs of foul play, and it is believed that the injuries sustained were a result of the fire.

Authorities are still working to confirm the person's identity.
