Update 2 - Police Searching for Two Suspects Who Struck Officer While Fleeing Arrest

Police have arrested the female suspect wanted after striking a police officer while fleeing arrest.
On Friday, March 21, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a member of the DRPS’ Project Attire Auto Theft Unit was in the plaza at 22 Stevenson Road South, Oshawa when he saw a suspect from a recent auto-theft investigation who was in breach of her release conditions. The officer attempted to arrest the female, who fled to a white Mercedes. The suspect got into the front passenger seat and an unknown driver began reversing the vehicle, dragging the officer several metres. The vehicle then struck a parked vehicle and fled the area.
Further investigation confirmed the true identity of the female suspect who was arrested on Tuesday, April 22 on the strength of a Judge’s Order Warrant while already in custody for unrelated criminal matters.
Asmaa OUADRIA, age 24, of Quebec is charged with numerous offences including: Theft Of Motor Vehicle; Obstruct Police; Evade lawful Custody; Perjury; Fail To Comply with Probation x 5 and Fail to Comply with Release Order x 39.
She is being held for a bail hearing.
