UPDATE #4 Double Homicide in Bowmanville

A sixth suspect in the double murder of a Bowmanville couple has been arrested by homicide detectives.

On Saturday, February 4, 2023, at approximately 12:45 a.m., three masked suspects, who were armed, arrived at an address on Crombie Street in Bowmanville.  The suspects entered the residence and shot both victims multiple times at close range.  Both victims died instantly. Ms. ALZUBAIDY was six months pregnant at the time of her murder.

On Friday, March 29, 2024, members of the Homicide Unit along with members of the Tactical Support Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Toronto.  One male was taken into custody without incident. Investigators are not looking for any further suspects.

Yancy WILLIAM, age 24 of Toronto is charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder.

He was held for Bail Hearing.
