Youth Arrested after Multiple Armed Robberies in Oshawa
A 16-year-old male is in custody after committing three armed robberies in Oshawa.
On Sunday, March 23, 2025, at approximately 8:50 p.m., members of Central East Division responded to three consecutive robbery calls in the area of Simcoe Street North and Beatrice Street East. The suspect approached three separate victims demanding money while armed with a knife.
Officers located the suspect a short distance away and placed in custody after a brief foot pursuit.
No physical injuries were reported.
A 16-year-old male from Whitby is charged with: Robbery x3; Disguise with Intent and Possess Weapon For Committing An Offence.
He was held for a bail hearing.
