Youth Assaulted During Robbery in Whitby

A 13-year-old male was assaulted by three youth during a robbery in Whitby.

On Monday, September 30, 2024, at approximately 10:00 p.m., members of Central West Division responded to a robbery in the area of Robert Attersley Drive East and Archstone Street.  A 13-year-old male was at a nearby park when he was approached by three young males.  The three suspects assaulted the victim before stealing his personal items, e-scooter, and clothing.  The victim attended a nearby residence where he contacted police.  The suspects fled the area prior to police arrival.

The victim sustained minor injuries.

The first suspect is described as: male, Black, approximately 16-years-old, 5’9” tall, with a medium build.  He was wearing a ski mask, black sweater, black pants, and black shoes.

The second suspect is described as: male, Black, approximately 16-years-old, and 5’9” tall.  He was wearing a black/white hoodie. 

The third suspect is described as: male, Black, approximately 16-years-old, and 5’9” tall.  He was wearing all black clothing.
